Night Riders

When: Sat., Aug. 10, 7 p.m. 2013
Price: Free
For the past four years, the Century Cycles shop in Peninsula has organized a nighttime slumber party bike ride. The concept is simple: put on your pajamas and go for a bike ride. The ride starts at 7 p.m. at the Century Cycles store in Peninsula and no pre-registration is necessary. It’s all for a good cause too as the ride benefits Project Night Night, an organization that helps out homeless kids. So bring a new children’s book, stuffed animal or blanket — no hand-me-downs — with you to the ride and your donation will go to Project Night Night. The ride starts at 7 p.m. and it’s free. Afterwards, head over to the Winking Lizard across the street for drinks and monster movies. Go to centurycycles.com/for/NightRides or call 330-657-2209 for more information. (Jeff Niesel)
