Join us for a presentation by the Western Reserve Historical Society as we explore the history of some of Northeast Ohio’s Amusement parks.
By the turn of the century, there were approximately 30 amusement parks operating in Ohio. A large number operated not only in Cleveland but the surrounding area. The program focusses on Geauga Lake, Chippewa Lake Park, Idora, Luna, Puritas, Myers Lake and touches on some lesser-known parks like Lincoln Park, Willow Beach, Gordon Gardens and Forest City.
