Backwards in High Heels: The Ginger Musical: Celebrate the life and times of Ginger Rogers in this vibrant musical by Lynette Barkley and Christopher McGovern. A coproduction of Arizona Theatre Company, the San Jose Rep, and the Cleveland Playhouse, the show is a sort of time machine back to the movie musicals of the 1930s and '40s, featuring the music of Berlin, Gershwin, and Kern, along with original songs and exuberant dance numbers. Flanagan's Wake: A zany blend of written dialog and improvised laughs, the interactive show transforms the audience into guests at Flanagan's wake in the fictional Irish village of Grapplin.
