When: Sat., Feb. 7 2015
The Sax Man, the well-received documentary on Cleveland's favorite street musician, Maurice Reedus Jr., will have one final public screening tonight at 7 at Lakeshore 7 Cinemas in Euclid. "It's been incredible to experience how much Cleveland has embraced this film, as well as a dozen other cities across the country," says director Joe Siebert in a press release. "It's been very affirming for us and for Maurice as well. We're really looking forward to celebrating with one final showing on the big screen." All the money from ticket sales will go toward paying for the music rights required for these local filmmakers to get the film distributed on national platforms like Netflix and iTunes.Donations will also be accepted at the screening. Tickets can be purchased for $10 through the film's website, www.saxmanmovie.com. (Niesel)
