Opening Night: Sibelius's Second Symphony

One of the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius’s most famous pieces, the Second Symphony evokes the beauty of his native Finland. You can hear it at the Cleveland Orchestra’s season-opening performance. The orchestra will also play Aaron Copland’s Organ Symphony and Charles Ives’s Symphony No. 3. The concert takes place at 7:30 tonight and at 8 tomorrow night at Severance Hall, and tickets start at $29. (Niesel)
