Photos: The Awesome Ancient Glacier Grooves on Kelleys Island

How did Kelley's Island become Kelley's Island exactly? These ancient grooves are a big clue. The Glacial Grooves Geological Preserves on the island shows off deep grooves that a glacier scoured into limestone about 18,000 years ago, plus ancient marine fossils.
