Pink Floyd x 2

More and The Valley (Obscured by Clouds), the first two features directed by Barbet Schroeder (a producer and occasional actor associated with the French new wave), are "hippie-era dramas" that feature original music by psychedelic rock icons Pink Floyd. Part head trip and part travelogue, these color movies were shot by the great Néstor Almendros (Days of Heaven) and the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque will show both of them tonight. More screens at 7 and The Valley screens at 9:15. General admission to a single film is $10; see a second film on the same day for $7. (Niesel)
