Pixies/John Grant

When: Sun., May 17, 8 p.m. 2015
Price: $42-$60
Influential indie rockers the Pixies have been a steady force since reuniting a decade ago. The band played some 120 shows in the past two years but didn’t include Cleveland as part of that tour. Thankfully, the group has included Cleveland on its current tour, which will include the debut of some brand-new Pixies songs, written and arranged just in the past few months. You can also expect to hear songs from last year's Indie Candy. With its tangled guitars, a song such as "What Goes Boom" suggests the group has mellowed some with age. Not that there's anything wrong with that. For these dates, the band, which features Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering, will once again be joined by touring bassist Paz Lenchain, who's been playing with the band since last year.
