Play Catch with Dad at Progressive Field

When: Sun., June 17, 2:30 p.m. 2012
Phone: 216-420-4487
Price: $15
Men and their kids throughout the ages have always enjoyed a game of catch in the backyard. For Father’s Day this year though, replace “backyard” with “Progressive Field.” After the 1:05 p.m. Indians-Pirates game today, fans who attended can overtake the field to play ball with their families. Even the batting cages are open for hitting. But to enjoy the fun later, you’ll have to tear yourself away from the game. Participants must to head to the check-in near section 175 before the 7th inning to receive their wristbands. Three times are available: 20 minutes, 45 minutes, and 70 minutes post-game. Each session has 300 places available for $15 tickets per person. Go online or visit any of the six area Cleveland Indians Team Shops or the Progressive Field Ticket Office to claim your spot on the field. Proceeds of the day benefit the Cleveland Indians’ Charities which has, in the past, donated to local schools, the Boys & Girls Club, and others. If you always wanted to rush the field and throw a balls of your own but didn’t want to deal with the legal repercussions, now’s your chance. And bring the kids!
