Positive Vibrations

When: Mon., Aug. 5, 6-10 p.m. 2013
Price: Free
Local rapper Chris Black has got an infectious personality that comes through strongly on the two albums he’s released. You don’t have to worry about this guy denouncing “bitches and ’hos.” He keeps it clean and upbeat. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the guy has put together a music festival for the simple sake of showing some hometown pride and celebrating the opening of Applebee’s, where he works as a server. The event, which takes place from 6-10 tonight at Point Park in downtown Willoughby, will feature live music as Black and his band will perform. Black also says we can expect “fun and games, special prizes and giveaways.” Admission is free. (Jeff Niesel)
