Rare Films From the Baseball Hall of Fame

This two-hour program celebrates the boys of summer with a bunch of vintage movies borrowed from the HOF's collection. These clips are always a treat, and this year host Dave Filipi (a film and baseball geek — yes, ladies, there is such a monster) presents a stellar lineup that includes old Gillette commercials with greats like Bob Feller and Willie Mays, highlights from the 1935 world series, and a whole bunch of heavy hitters — including Al Rosen, Ty Cobb, and Babe Ruth — knocking them out of the park in glorious black and white. There's also a Woody Woodpecker cartoon starring the pain-in-the-ass bird doing something baseball-related.
