Risky Business

When: Thu., Feb. 12 2015
Bobby Collins was destined to be a comedian as soon as he entered the world: His father named Collins after his favorite comedian, Bob Hope, and the kid’s been telling jokes ever since. Collins is a native New Yorker who away from a prestigious position as vice president at Calvin Klein in the 1980s to pursue his comedic dreams. His risk paid off: He quickly catapulted to fame and has even opened for big-name acts such as Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld. Collins’ very heavy New York accent adds a certain panache to his jokes about everyday life. He performs tonight at 8 at Hilarities and has shows scheduled through Saturday. Tickets are $23 to $30.
