Rituals and Expectations

When: Sun., Oct. 18 2015
Just a short, scenic drive west, the Sandusky Cultural Center hosts an opening reception for its latest exhibition, Rituals and Expectations. The reception takes place today from 1 to 4 p.m. Rituals and Expectations includes work by Matthew Gallagher, Yumiko Goto, Ikuka Miklowski, John Miyazawa and Gary Spinosa. The exhibition marks the much anticipated return of Gary Spinosa and his ongoing series of shrines and his signature, intricately sculpted porcelain philosophers’ stones. If you’ve been to Kokoon Arts at 78th Street Studios, you’ve probably seen Spinosa’s impressive work. Rituals and Meditations remains on view during regular gallery hours through Nov. 22. Free (Usmani) 2130 Hayes Ave., 419-625-1188, sanduskyculturalcenter.org.
