Road to the Red Carpet

Now in its fifth year, Pickwick & Frolic’s annual “Road to the Red Carpet” is a black-tie Oscar Night benefit for the Greater Cleveland Film Commission (“black tie” means “don’t dress like a roll of toilet paper and/or flash photographers,” Anne Hathaway). Guests are invited to saunter down an actual red carpet, enjoy complimentary Chardon Rosé bubbly and swanky hors d’oeuvres, and watch the Academy Awards on a jumbo screen or schmooze n’ booze near one of Pickwick & Frolic’s smaller TVs. Also included on the night’s rollicking itinerary are a silent auction, an Oscar contest, glam photo ops and the priceless opportunity to observe Clevelanders trying to pull off formal evening wear.
