Short and Sweet

When: Fri., Nov. 22 2013
You know how when you’re watching the Oscars and you see clips from the shorts — documentaries, animation, live-action — and wished you had the chance to see them all at once? The Cinematheque gives you the opportunity to see award winners from this year’s Sundance Film Fest in a program that includes eight of the most highly acclaimed short films. The line-up is diverse, but includes the film “Skinningrove” from U.S. filmmaker Michael Almereyda about his time spent in a “fiercely independent” English fishing village. Animated films and docs also will be featured. The shorts will screen at 9:40 this evening at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque and again tomorrow night at 7:05. Tickets, as always, are $9.
