Snowmine/Gomez Addams/Kitschy

How does a five-piece indie rock Brooklyn band set themselves apart? In the case of Snowmine, it’s by creating an iPhone app. Called COLORBEAST, the app features a video of the band playing on a stage and then blends different colors that match the music. Since what you see on the app is what you’ll see when the band plays live, this should be quite a show. The colors will react and blend along with the guitar echoes and tribal beats the band have perfect over the past two years, especially on their 2012 full-length Saucer Eyes. (Nikki Hunt)
