SonicFest Finale

This is the inaugural year of NeoSonicFest, a new music festival of contemporary classical works presented by the Grammy Award winning Cleveland Chamber Symphony. The festival features six performances in various venues around Cleveland. Closing out the festival is a performance by the Cleveland Chamber Symphony. The group will premier works by the finalists of the Young and Emerging Composers competition, as well as “Epilogue,” a piece by Howie Smith that features Smith as the saxophone soloist. Charles Ives’ beautifully intense work “Tone Roads” will end the program. It takes place at 7:30 at the Baldwin Wallace Gamble Auditorium. Admission is free but a $10 donation is suggested.
