Soufra, a documentary that screens tonight at the Capitol Theatre as part of a fall documentary film series, follows the "unlikely and wildly inspirational" story of intrepid social entrepreneur, Mariam Shaar, a generational refugee who has spent her life in the Burj El Barajneh refugee camp just south of Beirut, Lebanon. She tries to alter her fate by launching a successful catering company and expanding it into a food truck business with a diverse team of fellow refugee women. An audience discussion will follow the 7:30 screening. Tickets are $9.75. (Niesel)
