Learn to explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park in a whole new way! Composer and naturalist Lisa Rainsong will give instruction on the techniques and benefits of field recording and acoustic ecology. Attendees will capture audio recordings of the Cuyahoga and its surrounding environments, thus creating a sonic map of this landscape. Attendees need to have a smart phone or tablet with the app iRig installed in advance. iRig is compatible with both iOS and Android phones and tablets. This program is presented as part of the global event World Listening Day 2016: Sounds Lost and Found.
