Spring Into Theater Staff Pick

When: Thu., Sept. 26, 7 p.m. 2013
These ain’t no ordinary staged readings, folks. (But they’re at CPT. So, I mean, it’s not like they do anything ordinary.) Tonight kicks off Springboard, a festival of works in development which focus on nurturing local writers and directors. It’s unique in that audience feeback is encouraged to help shape the work’s future growth. You’ll get to stay after for a discussion session and all that good stuff. Tonight’s double billing features the festival’s longest and shortest titles, something called “Entanglement: A Historical Fantasy of Almost Love and Almost Loss, Art and Entry Level Quantum Physics” and then something called “Knyum.” You can check out that line-up again on Saturday or see something different on Friday and Sunday, and then new work next week! Or just go every night! Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased online or at the door. (Allard)
