Steven Seagal
Is there no end to this guy's talent? Steven Seagal -- the man, the legend -- is coming to Cleveland not to break a few bad guys' bones, but to break off a few hot blues-guitar licks. The 55-year-old aikido master and action-film superstar is an accomplished blues guitarist who fell in love with the genre during his childhood in Detroit. He has issued two CDs, the world-music-influenced Songs From the Crystal Cave and the electric-blues workout Mojo Priest (released in May). For those who think this could be another Bruce Willis/ Eddie Murphy-style exercise in self-indulgence, Seagal has help from such elderly heavyweights as Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin, Honeyboy Edwards, and even Bo Diddley. Along with a bunch of originals, Seagal covers tunes like "Red Rooster" and "Dust My Broom." Can any CD with a song titled "Talk to My Ass" be all bad?
