Super Stuff

When: Tue., Aug. 27, 7:30 p.m. 2013
Price: Free
One of the most enduring and recognizable comic book characters of all time was created in Cleveland. Not like Cleveland would ever let you forget, but Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster dreamed up Superman in Glenville, and in tonight’s Write to Assemble event, the monthly series featuring readings and literary potpourri at the Happy Dog that's brought to you by Ohio City Writers, local writer Brad Ricca reads from his new book Super Boys. It tells the story of the Cleveland kids who created a legend. The event is free and open to the public and will take place in the “Underdog,” the Happy Dog’s ambient basement. Books will be available for purchase from Visible Voice in Tremont. The reading kicks off at 7:30 p.m. (Allard)
