The 2017 Cleveland National Air Show

When: Sat., Sept. 2 2017
An event that dates back to the 1960s, the Cleveland National Air Show has become a Labor Day tradition. This year's incarnation will feature a rare de Havilland D.H. 115 Vampire Jet, a WWII Pacific Dogfight, solo aerobatics by Bill Stein and Tiger Airshows. Headlining this year's show are the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets, the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team and world aerobatic champion Sean D. Tucker serve as the event's headliners. It all starts today and continues through Monday at Burke Lakefront Airport in downtown Cleveland. Fans can also tour unique aircraft, help pack a parachute and meet a pilot. Advance general admission tickets are $21 for adults, $14 for children ages 6 to 11 (or pay $2 more at the gate) and free for children 5 and younger. (Niesel)
