The Beat Goes On

When: Thu., Aug. 28 2014
The Beat UPTOWN hosted some great shows this summer in the newly revitalized Uptown neighborhood in University Circle. Tonight is the final concert of the summer at Toby’s Plaza outside MOCA where you can find food trucks, interactive art, a cash bar and music curated by Beachland Ballroom. You won’t want to miss tonight’s featured artist, Japanese-American punk group Peelander Z who are known for their zany stage antics and costumes. Host of the Spektrum on WRUW, Spektron will DJ the party that starts at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is free. MOCA will let you into the galleries for $5. (Eric Gonzalez)
