The Fixers Series

When: Mon., July 18 2016
At 7 tonight, the first night of the RNC, the Bop Stop hosts a screening of the entire Fixers series. Created by a collective of artists, filmmakers and activists, The Fixers offers socio-political context for the more than 50,000+ anticipated visitors and 15,000 members of the media. Through seven short films, The Fixers work together to offer an alternative to the official, limited narrative. As locals are well aware, Cleveland is a diverse and complex subject, and the film series allows cultural and community leaders to contribute to a deeper conversation at a crucial point in Cleveland’s history. The Fixers is on view at SPACES through July 21. For this special screening, a $10 donation is suggested, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. (Usmani)
