The King's Return, Part Two

After a dismal showing on their home opener vs. the New York Knicks, the Cavaliers return from a grueling early road trip for their second home game of the 2014-2015 campaign, with fresh legs for the New Orleans Pelicans. LeBron, KLove, Kyrie and the gang will continue to gel for the first half of the season, so fans shouldn’t expect instant magic. Especially tonight: The Pelicans are one of the Western Conference’s most intriguing fringe-playoff teams with perhaps the most promising player in the NBA — Anthony Davis — and a core of smart role players who do a lot of things well. The Q will be bumping for the King’s second performance in Cleveland; let’s just hope it turns out to be more inspiring than the first. Tipoff tonight is at 7 p.m. (Allard)
