The Music Man

Composer Marvin Hamlisch’s awards include a Pulitzer, a Tony, four Grammys and three Oscars. You may recognize his music from musicals like A Chorus Line and They’re Playing Our Song or the films The Way We Were and The Sting. Tonight at Severance Hall, the Cleveland Pops Orchestra pays tribute to Hamlisch. The group has enlisted a few vocalists, including Doug LaBrecque, and Tony award winning singers Donna McKechnie and Jodi Benson. Director Carl Topilow has undoubtedly programmed a captivating and exciting show that will include an array of clarinets. The show starts at 8, and tickets are $29 to $82. (Eric Gonzalez)
