The Musical Theater Project will present its final concert of the season, “Optimistic Voices." During the 1930s, catchy songs were written to help Americans deal with the economic storm of the Great Depression. “Optimistic Voices” presents funny, romantic and stirring words and music from that decade and beyond, spanning more than 50 years of stage and screen musicals. Some songs you may hear and recognize are “Let’s Face the Music and Dance,” “I Can’t Give You Anything but Love,” “On the Sunny Side of the Street” and even Tomorrow” from Annie.
