Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, Inception) assembled this program of three stop-motion animated films by the Quay Brothers. The program includes his new short film about the brothers too. Twins Stephen and Timothy have spent their lives animating everyday objects and integrating them into visually unique films reminiscent of European fairytales gone wrong. The short films are Street of Crocodiles (1986), The Comb (1991), and In Absentia (2000). They show tonight at 9:25 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque, and the program repeats at 6:45 on Saturday night. Tickets are $10. (Xan Schwartz)
