The Werks/Aliver Hall

When: Wed., Oct. 31, 9 p.m. 2012
Price: $10 ADV, $15 DOS
The Werks have toured the U.S. since 2009 and created their own style of music, psychedelic dance rock. They mix shredding guitars with keyboards and funk bass to create vibrant dance beats. The result is a unique sound that combines aspects of classic rock, dance music, and funk. As singer Rob Chafin has said, “Music is a form of communication, and performing live is transforming the energy and emotions of the audience and venue into tones and rhythms that affect on us on a subconscious level.” This Halloween show should be even more fun, as it will include a spoof of Dave Chappelle’s “Playa Haters Ball” skit.
