We expect you know the Tremont ArtWalk drill by now. Second Friday of every month (aka tonight), prance through Tremont from 6 to 10 p.m. and view the work of local artists at more than 20 Tremont galleries. In a town like Cleveland, lately so hostile to artists and art, make a point to come support the folks who have been doing this shit month-in and month-out for decades. Visible Voice bookstore generally features additional programming and tonight will host Brian Shaw, a musician from Indiana. In press materials Shaw likely wrote himself, he is described as “an urgent Leonard Cohen armed only with whisky and a blown tube amplifier, lost in the sprawling Midwest, driving his solitary heart toward an uncertain future.” (!!!) Also, word on the street is a brand new gallery will be opening — Calluna — on Literary Road, right across from Barrio, helmed by a woman with a scintillating Scene connection. Head there tonight to find out more. (Sam Allard)
