United We Brunch is coming back in April. Tickets are on sale right now!

Trot Shots

Since their humble beginnings 82 (founded 1926; entering 82nd year but 81 completed) years ago in Chicago, the Harlem Globetrotters have been dazzling basketball fans all over the world. But don't be fooled by their on-the-court antics; the WWE's Vince McMahon isn't running the show at the Q this afternoon, when the team takes on their arch-rival, the Washington Generals. "This is a real basketball game," says guard Moo Moo Evans. "We practice an hour to an hour and a half every day. When we're behind, we have to get back in the game." That's practically new territory for him. In Evans' three-year career with the squad, the team has never lost a game. And its record is the reason he ditched the thought of playing in the NBA after graduating from Alabama's Troy University. "I always wanted to be a Globetrotter. We still hear chants for Curly and Meadowlark Lemon when we're on the court," says Evans. "We still do the half-court shots and the amazing dunks. But this year, we changed the whole routine, and the fans are in for a treat." The action starts at 1 today at Quicken Loans Arena, 1 Gateway Plaza. Tickets are $16 to $49.
