True Blood

When: Thu., June 26 2014
F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu the Vampyre is one of the best early horror films ever made. Werner Herzog’s 1979 remake isn’t too shabby either. Herzog captures the elegant beauty of the original in his film which features some 11,000 live rats. Tonight at 7:35 and tomorrow night at 9:10, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque shows a new 35mm print of the subtitled German version of the film (Herzog also made an English version that’s usually shown in the States). Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
