Two Special Events at MOCA Cleveland

Tonight, MOCA Cleveland hosts two special events. Beginning at 5 p.m., Public Studio, the collective art practice of filmmaker Elle Flanders and architect Tamira Sawatzky, will discuss their socially engaged projects, including Visit Palestine: Change Your View and Zero Hour. Intersections in Contemporary Art: Public Studio is presented in collaboration with Case Western Reserve University’s Department of Art History and Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art. At 7 p.m., MOCA hosts Conversations: It Runs Like Clockwork: Automatons, Artificial Hearts and Machines of Medicine in partnership with the Dittrick Museum of Medical History. Dr. Brandy Schillace, Ph. D. will discuss history’s most precise innovations and the men and women behind them. Intersections in Contemporary Art: Public Studio is free and open to all.
