UA Theatre Production of The Skin of Our Teeth

The University of Akron Theatre program continues its season with The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder, featuring a cast of 18 UA students. Written in 1942 and directed by James Slowiak, the Pulitzer prize-winning play is a three-part allegory about humanity’s resilience centered around the Antrobus family. The Skin of Our Teeth incorporates elements of satire, burlesque and interactive theater as it careens from Akron, OH, to the Ice Age and beyond. The play addresses a wide range of political and social themes, including racism, the refugee crisis, climate change and war.
