Verdi Sacred Pieces

When: Fri., Oct. 9 2015
French composer Olivier Messiaen’s music illustrates his devotion to God and creation, and Giuseppe Verdi’s sacred music reflects a more ambiguous relationship with God. Tonight, Franz Welser-Möst will lead the Cleveland Orchestra as it performs works by both composers. The concert begins at 8 at Severance Hall. Tickets start at $79. (Niesel)
