On Monday, August 2 at 7 p.m. the Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event with Eric Dean Wilson, author of After Cooling: On Freon, Global Warming, and the Terrible Cost of Comfort. In his book, Wilson interweaves the science and history of the powerful refrigerant (and dangerous greenhouse gas) Freon with a haunting meditation on how to live meaningfully and morally in a rapidly heating world.
