Lyndhurst beer hall flips its burgers on the cheap. All you have to do is drink.

Nothing screams summer louder than the sizzle of a ground-beef patty on the grill. That's why Dollar Burger Night at Bar Louie in Lyndhurst is getting the Tuesday crowd fired up over its usually priced $8.99 sandwiches. "All you gotta do is purchase any beverage, and the dollar deal is yours," says Chastity Bogard, the bar's manager. "What's a better kickoff to the beginning of summer than limitless dollar burgers?"For an extra 50 cents, you can top off the beef with a layer of bacon, cheese, or onions. A basket of fries or Tater Tots runs $1.99. And one of 20 brews on tap, to wash down the sandwich, costs $3. "We've seen people order 10 burgers all to themselves," says Bogard. "Our burgers are our regular Angus quality, not cast-off inferior crap." Dollar Burger Night runs from 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Bar Louie, 24337 Cedar Road in Lyndhurst. Admission is free.
