In a free public lecture, prolific novelist and Case Western Reserve University English professor Thrity Umrigar shares how writers create dynamic and memorable characters that intrigue and stick with readers. The Baker-Nord Faculty Lecture, presented by the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, is Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. at the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom, 11038 Bellflower Road.
