Winter Waterland

When: Fri., Nov. 29 2013
The Greater Cleveland Aquarium will be transformed into a sea-themed winter wonderland this holiday season. Icy decorations will adorn the exhibits, and Scuba Claus will be in town. This year, Scuba Claus will wear a diver communication mask, so he can talk to guests from inside the exhibits. Children will be able to gather for Scuba Claus’ 'Tis the Season story time, where they can listen to him read a story from inside the Shark SeaTube exhibit. Other attractions include the Discovery Zone, which will be transformed into an ice palace complete with a daily snowfall and elves. There will also be special events held throughout the season. It all kicks off today when the aquarium opens at 10 a.m. Winter Waterland continues through Jan. 5. Regular admission prices ($19.95 for adults and $13.95 for children) apply. (Rus)
