Asking Alexandria — 10 Years in the Black Tour/Born of Osiris/I See Stars/After the Burial/Upon a Burning Body/Bad Omens

Ash Avildsen founded the hardcore/metal label Sumerian back in 2006 to foster a burgeoning underground scene of heavy hitting bands. To celebrate the label's 10-year anniversary, the UK metalcore band Asking Alexandria has embarked on a headlining tour in support of its new album, The Black. The disc shows new singer Denis Stoff's incrediable range as he alternately screams and croons on tunes such as the title track and "The Lost Souls." Tonight's six-band bill celebrates Sumerian's decade of delivering bands that Alternative Press can put on its cover. (Niesel)
