Broadway Calls/Red City Radio/Mixtapes/I Call Fives/Silver Snakes

After a decade in hardcore band Countdown to Life, singer-guitarist Ty Vaughn and drummer Josh Baird jumped shipped, paired up with bassist Matt Koenig, and headed on tour with a new punk rock sound, dubbing their band Broadway Calls. By the end of that 2005 winter, the band released its first EP, Call the Medic. Fast forward eight years, two studio albums and a handful of international tours, and the Oregon trio is sticking to its mix of rough-around-the-edges vocals, simple drums and soft guitars and is ready to release its third full-length, Comfort/Distractions, this February.
