It’s that time again: that single glorious evening each month when you and I get to saunter over to Market Garden Brewery and drink alcohol while listening to literature. It’s Brews & Prose, Ohio City’s indomitable reading series! Tonight, in collaboration with the Northeast Ohio MFA Program, Brews & Prose welcomes poet Caryl Pagel, a poetry professor in the NEOMFA who also runs the CSU Poetry Center. She’ll be joined by two current students — Couri Johnson and Natasha Rodriguez-Carroll — and as the Facebook page notes, we’ll all be able to celebrate the next generation of local writers right alongside the next generation of local brews.
