Earth to Table

Described as an earth-to-table lifestyle kitchen-centric school, the Agrarian Collective is a new startup that offers classes in collaboration with local farmers, chefs and artisans. The classes take place at various locations throughout the region. Today at 6 p.m. at Rising Star Coffee Roasters, for example, you can take the class Discover the Perfect Cup of Coffee. The two-hour class will educate participants on the origins, farming and qualities of green focused home-brewed coffee. Each student will leave the class with a pound of raw beans to roast at home and a Guide to the Perfect Cup booklet.
