Fall Out Boy/Panic! at the Disco

The hiatus is over for Fall Out Boy; the band is back together after being away for about 5 years. This Chicago-based emo punk band did a complete turnaround on its pop and rock inspired new album Save Rock and Roll. The disc has its share of anthems such as “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light ‘em Up)" and the title track, which it recorded with Elton John. Pete Wentz’s writing has a bit more of an edge to it, and singer Patrick Stump is in fine form. Guests such as Foxes, Big Sean and Courtney Love all make appearances on the album. If FOB were going for something ambitious, then they have succeeded. (Aziza Doleh)
