Back in 1992, the original House of Blues in Cambridge, Mass. began a tradition of serving the homeless and needy on Thanksgiving. The House of Blues here in Cleveland has carried on that tradition for the past decade. Once again this year, it will offer a full Thanksgiving buffet dinner to those in need on Thanksgiving Day. House of Blues employees, friends, family and vendors will provide the food at the event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In the past, the venue has served an average of 300 people in the Restaurant & Bar on East 4th Street. This year, the venue will aim to feed even more people in the Music Hall. In addition, the 4 Amigos will perform on the main stage where the O’Jays’ Eric Nolan Grant and The Alan Cox Show’s Erika Lauren will join them. Note that you must be in need (homeless, low income, alone, etc.) to receive the free meal. (Niesel)
