Glenn Tilbrook/Joe Michelini

Singer-songwriter Glenn Tilbrook loves playing the Beachland Ballroom so much, he wrote a song about it. Simply dubbed "Beachland Ballroom," the track comes off a bit like an ad as Tilbrook sings "if you end up in Cleveland looking for something to do — Beachland Ballroom." But given Tilbrook's history with the club — one year he arrived late for a gig and recruited audience members to help haul in his equipment — you can understand why he loves the club so much. One half of the songwriting duo that penned tunes for the Brit power-pop act Squeeze, Tilbrook has a stellar solo career and plays a mix of solo stuff and Squeeze songs in his live shows. (Niesel)
