Going Global

Volume 24 of Cleveland’s PechaKucha Night will take place at Hotcards’ World Headquarters from 7 to 10:30 tonight at Red Space. This particular evening will be special, because, for the first time ever, hundreds of cities around the world will be hosting PKN events on the same day and broadcasting their events all over the world — including Cleveland! If you’re not familiar with the format, PKN Cleveland selects about 10 to 12 speakers who give passionate, fast-paced presentations using 20 slides for just 20 seconds each. The speakers are typically creative leaders and talented members of our community, and they speak about what they are most passionate about. The results are never boring, and this Friday’s PKN Global event is sure to be special. The event is free and open to the public. (Usmani)
