For the 10th consecutive year, Lakewood will host Light Up Lakewood, its annual free holiday celebration that features a holiday parade, lighting ceremony, winter fireworks, live music, ice carvings, hot chocolate, food trucks, children’s games and more. Last year’s event drew an estimated 25,000 guests. This year's event will start with lunch with Santa at Dewey's Pizza from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a Vendor Village inside historic Masonic Hall, a holiday parade and live entertainment provided by bands, choirs and dancers. The Lighting Ceremony takes place at 6:30 p.m. at the Main Stage at City Center Park. A fireworks show follows. (Niesel)
