As if there weren’t enough art-related events on the first Friday of each month, the Cleveland Museum of Art hosts its month MIX event, an evening of art, music, dancing, refreshments and mingling. Each month’s MIX features a different theme. With spring in the air, April’s MIX theme is Revel, celebrating flowers, warm weather and sunny skies. MIX: Revel takes place from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, April 7. Admission is $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the event (CMA members free). In addition to partaking in the reverie in the atrium, guests can tour the museum’s permanent collection galleries and special exhibitions. Temporary exhibitions currently on view include: Basquiat: The Unknown Notebooks, Downtown 81 Outtakes, Black in America: Louis Draper and Leonard Freed and African Master Carvers: Known and Famous.
